Their customer service is great. They have always responded quickly. I think they get a bad rap on the internet. They load quicker than the top 10 rated companies. I have been optimizing my website and my Gtmetrix and Google Insight Speed are in the 90’s. I’m very glad to have picked them as my website hosting company.
I am using InMotion Hosting for over 2 years now and still I am very pleased with the customer service and support. The response time didn’t multiply “because of COVID”, as many other companies would like to use COVID as an excuse for awful customer service. Every time I call the support line I am answered in a reasonable time delay and the person answering is always very professional and knowledgeable, i.e. they do not enter your question into their response system software and read the answer from the screen, they actually answer you right away, they know the subject and can guide you in a way that anyone feels very comfortable. Thank you for an excellent service.

As an independent business person that needs a team to support a dedicated server, I can tell you that InMotion Hosting is a TOP TIER provider. The pricing is at a bit of a premium, but the support is 2nd to nobody. You are treated professionally with a team of crazy competence. This company helped me transition my old server with approx 50 accounts over to their solution and it was actually a very pleasant and smooth process. I was very afraid it would go very wrong and take many hours. NOT TRUE. It was super easy and the hand holding that was available if needed was so comforting. Thank you InMotion.
NO NO NO NO NO DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEIR COMPANY! It is not a secure service and they even opt everyone in with a backup service that if you do not see, you will get charged. The backup service has two backups only days apart. So if you site gets hacked, and say you notice it a month later, your backup is worthless using their forced service. Try their email and it is horrible whether it is POP3 or IMAP, it will still lagggggg with emails lost. GO ELSEWHERE-you will not be happy with this host.
They host spam URLs and refuse to do anything about them. Not even investigate. We ended up blacklisting their entire IP range, and haven’t heard a peep from our users. Clearly, they host nothing of value otherwise we would get yelled at!

Fabulous. I found them when my current server provider was sold. So happy I did. InMotion’s customer service makes them shine. They are employee-owned and located here in the U.S. They are very knowledgable and take pride in their work. And while they almost always know the answer to my questions, they aren’t afraid to say “I’m not sure – let me do some research”. Their quality is top-notch.
All of my emails just disappeared on my business server and I cannot access ANY of my data. They are “looking into it” but it may be gone. This is going to cost me an arm and leg.
The only thing I can say is that this company has OUTSTANDING Tech Support! I am so grateful for their patience and I am so appreciative for how they explain everything to me.
